One of the hidden gems of the East Village. If you are in the neighborhood, definitely go inside. A very eclectic atmosphere and a warm and knowledgeable staff are waiting for you. The food is ridiculously good, with great tajines and rotating specials. If you are ordering in, try the lamb burger. It is the best I have had in NYC.

Really good, and low prices. Try the merguez sausage sandwich!

I ordered Zaalouk and the Vegetable Couscous from them. Great healthy comfort food. Vegetables were cooked with very little oil, and I loved that they sent the gravy to pour over the vegetables in a separate cup so that I can add it to my taste. Delivery was fast and the whole meal is priced really well. I will definitely try other dishes from them.

I order from Nomad all the time and it is never over 30 min. The mussels are fantastic. I seriously order them every time. I am also very picky with seafood. The mussels are always fresh. The cookie plate is another winner and a great end to every order. Keep doing what you're doing!

Super fast delivery and delicious! I got the Moorish chicken appetizer to put atop the Garden Salad, which was super fresh and tasty. Yum! The eggplant dip appetizer (starts with a Z) is so good! And the chicken comes with cooked spinach! Delicious and healthy.

At Nomad you will feel the charm of the Mediterranean Cuisine and the North African Desert. The fire of the people, the warmth of the hues and the passion in the cooking. Fittings and ambiance are a combination of the artwork of Alex Weiss wall paint sceneries, imported artwork from Morocco, and the carved iron work of Steel Neal creating an authentic outpost of North Africa in the heart of the East Village in nyc. Youll be surrounded by ochre walls, Berber pottery and hand crafted wooden screens while relaxing in Berber script, candlelight and nomadic tunes.
